Founder's Story

I've been playing golf my whole life. I'm not a pro, never was. I'm a golfer — the kind who loves the game, the outdoors, the time spent with friends.

For most of those years, I finished a round feeling pretty good. Then somewhere in my fifties, something changed. Sometimes you feel it out there. Mostly you feel it that night. A tightness in the lower back that wasn't there before. Then the next morning. And then you realize it's been creeping up on you for a while and you just hadn't named it yet.

I started paying attention to what was actually causing it. Not the swing. Not the walk. The bending. Specifically, bending over to fix ball marks — the thing I do every round because I was taught to, because I care about the course, because it's the right thing to do.

That's when I looked down at the same little tool every golfer carries and had a thought I couldn't shake: it's been in the bag for fifty years and nobody ever improved it.

So I did.
